Everyone likes inspiring stories, a success story born from humble beginnings - especially when the story is born in their own community. Paul Kozub is a native of Hadley, Massachusetts - but his fame is quickly spreading worldwide. "Why?" you may ask. Well, have you ever heard of Valley Vodka Inc.? Yep. That's Paul's creation, a creation emerging from a year of recipe experimentation in his basement.  The birth of that creation began one cold winter night - and that one night was all it took for Paul to attach himself to the idea of creating the smoothest vodka in the world.

The beginning of Paul's journey can be credited to two different generational passions. Shortly after graduating from college, Paul's father passed away, leaving a successful business behind and, just a few short years later, his grandfather followed. His grandfather was the spark in Paul's inspiration. Back in the 1930s, his grandfather made and distributed his own vodka all over Massachusetts. Paul inherited his grandfather's desire to create tasty vodka along with his father's knack for business.  

Over the next f few years, Paul made trips to and from Poland in order to evolve and perfect his vodka recipe. In Poland, he formed a business relationship with the "master" distiller at Polmos Lublin - and the dream of creating and promoting his vodka recipe became a reality. V-One Vodka made its debut in September of 2005; it was offered in ten liquor stores and in five restaurants within Western Massachusetts. At this time, Paul's company was humble in every sense of the word - there was no computer, no company phone number?just him and his V-One Vodka van.

However, the fame of the "V-One" brand has spread?and spread?.and spread. In fact, Paul's special vodka is sold throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut and is praised worldwide. Since his product began selling in stores and restaurants, the "V-One" Vodka has won numerous awards, including the "Double Gold" medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.
